By default, captures are sent to our AI providers for text recognition and are not retained by them after processing. Images are transmitted only when a capture is taken, never in the background. Where a record must not leave the device, Form Link includes an on-device recognition mode that performs all recognition locally. Our Privacy Policy names every provider and what each one receives.

Yes. Applications, permit requests and service forms completed at a counter are usually handwritten, and every value is reviewed before it is submitted.
Captures are sent to trusted cloud services — Google Cloud Vision, Google Gemini and Anthropic — to be read, then returned for review before anything is submitted. They are never sold and are not used to train models. On-device recognition is available as a fallback where cloud processing is not permitted.
If the system runs in a browser, yes. Filling fields directly is what makes Form Link work with software that has no bulk import and no API.
No. The paper stays exactly as it is; Form Link learns each form layout once from a blank copy.
