How does Form Link work?
Take a photo of any paper form with your iPhone. Form Link reads the text using AI recognition and sends the result to the Chrome extension, which fills in your web form automatically. See How It Works for a full walkthrough.
Is my data private?
By default, captures are sent to our AI providers for text recognition — that is what makes handwriting and imperfect scans readable. Images go out only when you take a capture, never in the background, and the providers do not retain them after processing. Extracted results are saved to an encrypted archive on your phone behind Face ID, and reach your browser over your own WiFi rather than through us. If you would prefer no image ever leaves the device, switch to on-device recognition on the capture screen. Our Privacy Policy names every provider and what each one receives.
What browsers are supported?
Form Link works with Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc) via the Chrome Web Store.
Do I need an iPhone?
Yes. The iOS app captures paper forms using your iPhone camera. An Android version is not currently available.
How do I connect my iPhone to the extension?
Open the Form Link iOS app and the Chrome extension on the same Wi-Fi network — not cellular, and not two different networks. The iOS app displays an IP address and a 6-digit pairing code; enter both in the extension to establish a secure connection.
Can I export data to Google Sheets?
Yes. Form Link includes an optional Google Sheets integration. You can export extracted form data directly to any spreadsheet you authorize.
